EQA GLU/HGB

Program description:

"EQA GLU/HGB" is an external quality assessment program that controls the Glucose and Hemoglobin measure on point of care analyzers HEMOCUE. The control can be used on Point of care analyzers HEMOCUE Hb201+, Hb201 DM, Hb301, Glucose 201 and Glucose 201 DM.

Shipments are scheduled twice a year (May, June and October) with three samples (droppers with 1.5 ml of blood).

Parameters:

Hemoglobin (Hgb) in g/dl on Hemocue Hb201+, Hb201 DM and Hb301.

Glucose in mg/dl on Hemocue Glucose 201 and Glucose 201 DM.

Comparison groups:

All techniques comparison: Statistical treatment made with all the EQA results, all techniques included.

Peer group comparison: Statistical treatment made with the EQA results from laboratories which use the same manufacturer’analyzers.
